Surreal. That’s the word that I’d use to describe Muni’s closing. Witnessing everything that I, along with hundreds of other people, had worked and sacrificed so much for during the last 3 years disappear is surreal.
But not everything disappears. What remains is our legacy: the team, the learnings, the memories, and the friendships we built along the way.
I’m writing this for two reasons:
(1) As a tribute to everything that doesn’t disappear
(2) To contribute to the startup and tech ecosystem in Latin America by sharing our experience and learnings
And I write this with the hope that, while you read it, you remember that:
As the inscription from my favorite place at Stanford says: “Dedicated to the things that haven’t happened yet, and the people who are about to dream them up.”
